The Lafayette Gay Rights January Meetup

Greetings Acadiana GLBT Folks!

We are starting up our meetings again in efforts to change this state and our area here to a more progressive environment. To do so we need everyone's help.

Since joining the National Board of Directors for the National Stonewall Democrats I have been traveling the country finding different ways to connect with folks and joining larger progressive groups seems to be working quite well.

The local Progressive Democrats is a Key Example - we are a driving force behind this group and an active member and we hope you will join us at this meeting. We MUST stand up and make some NOISE so that we are not represented by bigots and homophobes!

Here, at this meeting, you will be able to meet many GLBT folks as well as friends of ours who are fighting right along side of us... and making good friends along the way.

So join us at this meeting, where we promise you will not be disapointed. We have a VERY important surpise at this meeting that we shoudl do our best to be there for!
