Equality Florida is Florida?s statewide human rights organization working on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues. Through education and advocacy, the organization is dedicated to building a state of equal rights for all Floridians, inclusive of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
Equality Florida?s exciting initiative ?Meetup for Equality!? is the newest way for Floridians to become a part of the work that is changing the scope and reach of the GLBT community! Join activists across the state as we meet once a month in your area to help repeal Florida?s discriminatory gay adoption ban, gain legal recognition of GLBT relationships, work for a safe and hate-free environment in your children?s schools, and work for the equal protection and treatment of GLBT people in public housing and the workplace!
