Important Equality Florida Tampa Reception Update!

Please join us on Thursday, March 13, from 6-8 pm, as we recognize the family of Ryan Skipper, for their courage in the face of unimaginable loss and their commitment to ensuring that anti-LGBT hate violence never goes unchallenged.

The 2008 Tampa Reception will be held on the eve of the First Anniversary of Ryan's senseless murder.
Lynn and Pat Mulder, Ryan's mom and stepdad, will be our Guests of Honor for the evening.
Please join us as we gather to support Equality Florida our ONLY statewide Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender rights organization.
Together, we can overturn Florida?s anti-gay adoption ban, make Florida schools safe for all students, outlaw any anti-GLBT discrimination, defeat Florida?s so-called marriage amendment, win legal protections for our families, stop hate violence, and elect fair minded politicians.

This not-for-profit documentary, Accessory to Murder: Our Culture's Complicity in the Death of Ryan Skipper, explores the rampant homophobia which is present in our culture's institutions, from religion, education, law enforcement to politics. Our society and its leaders must bear responsibility for the murder of Ryan Skipper who lived in a culture that devalued and demeaned him, and ultimately targeted him for violence and death.
